Chantelle and Preston have officially announced their split.
The couple - who met on 'Celebrity Big Brother' last year and enjoyed a whirlwind romance - have called it a day after just ten months of marriage.
The couple released a statement yesterday (27.08.07) saying: "We hope we can always remain friends and still love each other but we both think we put so much pressure on one another to make our marriage work that it has ended up destroying our relationship. No one else is involved in our decision."
Ordinary Boys singer met the 23-year-old when she was planted as a 'fake celebrity' on the Channel 4 show.
Viewers saw their romance blossom on-screen although 25-year-old Preston had a girlfriend outside the house.
Chantelle went on to win 'Celebrity Big Brother' and in the weeks following the final Preston became engaged to his French girlfriend, then split from her and began a relationship with the blonde Paris Hilton look-a-like.
They married just six months later in August.
