Soap Tearaways Team Up For Children In Need

Comic Catherine Tate and 'EastEnders' star Lacey Turner are teaming up to do a sketch for 'Children in Need'.Tate will play her well-known character Lauren, while 17-year-old Turner will play her outspoken soap character, Stacey Slater, for the sketch.The teenage tearaways will act out a hilarious scene to help raise cash for charity.Lauren and Stacey – who is Kat Moon's cousin in the popular show - are both famed for their loud ways.

It's thought the comedy scene may feature the pair fighting over a boyfriend.An insider on the BBC fundraiser told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "They may fight over a pop band or a boy."

The source added: "And there could be murder if Stacey disrespects Lauren's family."BBC's annual 'Children in Need' appeal helps disadvantaged children, including those who are disabled or living in poverty. It also helps youngsters who are being bullied or who are living in inadequate housing.The appeal will be aired next month.
