David Gest has allegedly been forced to leave Britain as his work visa has expired.Bosses of ITV show 'Grease Is The Word' are now worried the 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here' star will not be allowed to return in time to judge tomorrow night's show (05.05.07).David failed to attend a scheduled appearance on BBC Radio 1's Chris Moyles show yesterday (03.04.07).Loud-mouthed DJ Moyles told listeners: "David can't come in because his visa has run out."He has to go to Ireland to hopefully have it renewed in time for Saturday's Grease show."Panicked ITV bosses have reportedly lined up the 53-year-old's girlfriend and 'I'm A Celebrity' co-star, Malandra Burrows, 41, to stand in for him on the judging panel.A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "After Moyles said that on the radio, everyone has panicked."We have even discussed asking Malandra to step in at the last minute. It's a race against time."
The talent show is searching for singers to star as Danny and Sandy in a new West End production of musical 'Grease'.
But David's spokeswoman denied the music producer's work permit has expired.
She said: "David's visa is fine. He is in Ireland filming for his fly-on-the-wall show 'This is David Gest'."
