'EastEnders' new bill

Former 'The Bill' star Scott Maslen is to join the cast of 'EastEnders' as Max Branning's womanising brother.Jack Branning - formerly DS Phil Hunter in 'The Bill' - will arrive for nephew Bradley's wedding to Stacey in September and immediately begins setting the ladies' pulses racing on Albert Square.Scott told Britain's All About Soap magazine: "Jack's used to getting his own way. He's competitive and he likes to win in business - and pleasure."Luckily for Scott - having left TV cop drama 'The Bill' - his new character Jack is an ex-policeman.Jack is set to take a liking to both of the new Mitchell sisters, Roxy and Ronnie - played by Samantha Janus and Rita Simons.But it is rumoured that he will ultimately set his sights on a more dangerous liaison - his brother's wife Tanya.Max pulls out all the stops for his and Tanya's wedding anniversary next week, but with his ex-lover Stacey about to marry Bradley, Max is dreading the revelation of the terrible secret which could finally ruin his marriage.
