Jo Joyner's champagne nights

Jo Joyner loves spending nights in with her husband Neil Madden, because they eat strawberries and drink champagne.

The 'EastEnders' star- who plays Tanya Branning in the soap - said she doesn't get much time to spend with her husband of nearly a year, so makes the most of it when she does.

She said: "We get party foods and have some champagne when we have a night in together. With so many episodes of 'EastEnders' to record, there's very little time for us to be together. But, staying in all the time can get a little mundane, so when we have our special nights in it's like a treat."

Jo's husband Neil also said he found it weird that her on-screen husband Jake Wood came to their wedding ceremony.

He said: "We were standing at the altar and Jake's daughter Amber was messing about so he'd taken her outside. When I was about to say I do, I looked up and saw Jo's on-screen husband walking past the window. That was weird. It was so perfectly timed!"
