Lamb Gavin, named after Charlotte Church's fiancé Gavin Henson, is now safely back in Gordon's garden after the attack.
The celebrity chef planned to slaughter both animals and cook them for the series finale on his show.
In the first series he and his children raised turkeys in the garden which were then slaughtered and cooked for Christmas, to teach his kids where meat comes from.
In the last series Gordon raised and slaughtered pigs to feast on.
A spokesman for the chef said: "Let's not get things out of proportion - it's a lamb.
"Pass any butcher's shop and you'll see lots of them."
