Ashley Russell was the latest contestant to be voted off 'I'd Do Anything' last night (11.05.08).
The 24-year-old drama teacher from Edinburgh, Scotland, found herself in the sing-off with fellow contestant Niamh Perry, but was voted off by judge Andrew Lloyd-Webber after a rousing performance of his classic song 'Don't Cry For Me Argentina'.
He said: "You have got a fantastic talent - it's just that you don't completely communicate that when you're on stage. But I would really love to work with you one day.”
Ashley - who is now out of the competition aiming to find a new Nancy and Oliver for a London production of 'Oliver!' later this year - said she didn't regret appearing on the show.
This experience has had its ups and downs but overall it's been great. It's built my character and I look forward to the new things that come along.

"One thing I do want to say is that I didn't lose my identity throughout the whole thing. I stayed me, kept professional and did the best job I could which is good enough for me!”
Five contestants remain, and will battle it out in the quarter-final of the show next Saturday (17.05.08).
