'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!' contestants are to face a challenge based on school drama 'Grange Hill'

Contestants on the jungle reality show will face the tough Bushtucker Trial, nicknamed 'Grange Hell', after the recently discontinued children's school-based programme.

A show insider told the Daily Star newspaper: "This is going to make one celebrity scream the place down. It's stomach churning."

The show's hosts Ant, 33, and Dec, 34, will introduce the new task during an extended live show on November 18.

A school uniform covered in cockroaches, gloves filled with biting ants and a Tuck Shop lunch including a glass of real beetle juice are among the challenges one contestant will have to face.

This is going to make one celebrity scream the place down. It's stomach churning.

The unfortunate candidate will also have to put their head inside a desk filled with insects and pull out food tokens with their mouth, and study "Snakespeare" by putting their hands in a box full of snakes.

Producers are also reported to be introducing a "caravan of love" to the jungle camp in the hope contestants will cosy up to one another.

An insider said: "The camp is hardly the best place to get romantic with snakes, spiders and rats all over you, but a caravan with a bit of privacy might just do the trick."
