Family Forensic's Taken Off The Air As Presenter Awaits Sentence

A new TV show presented by Jayne Middlemiss has been axed - because one of its stars is awaiting sentence for a crime involving a child.'Family Forensics' – which has only aired one episode – featured private investigator Michael Brown browsing through other people's possessions and homes to uncover any secrets they may have.It's now been claimed the presenter didn't tell TV bosses he is set to be sentenced for a crime.A spokesman for digital channel Living TV is quoted in Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: "It has come to our attention that Michael Brown was convicted of offences involving children on October 17, 2005."Due to the serious nature of these offences and out of respect and to protect the families involved, Living TV took the immediate and difficult decision not to transmit the rest of the series."The channel is now considering suing Brown and has apologised to viewers.The forensics expert will be sentenced in Bournemouth on Thursday (24.11.05).
