'EastEnders' star Joe Swash has been sensationally axed from the show. The 26-year-old actor and his co-star David Sphinx have both been told they will be written out of the BBC soap because producers have run out of storyline ideas for their characters Mickey and Keith Miller.A source said: "Joe and David were told their characters have run out of steam by 'EastEnders' boss Diederick Santer."Joe was stunned at first. He's loved playing Mickey and felt the fans still enjoyed watching his antics. But he soon realised if the stories weren't there he didn't want to just be going through the motions. Now he's thinking over his moves carefully. He doesn't want to become just another former soap star so he has to make certain he does the right thing for his career."Joe joined the cast of 'EastEnders' in April 2003, while 57-year-old David arrived to play his stepfather in September 2004.Last month, it was reported Joe had split from girlfriend Emma Sophocleous, the mother of his eight-month-old son Harry.0Comments | Be the first to comment!
