Johnny Vegas's Channel 4 show '18 Stone of Idiot' has been axed due to poor ratings.
The late night comedy programme failed to get the audience viewing figures it needed, with just 900,000 people tuning in to the last episode. So Channel 4 bosses have decided not to commission a second series of the show, which featured the comic telling gags on stage with his celebrity pals, including actors Rhys Ifans and Ray Winstone.
An insider told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Johnny is a big talent and very popular so Channel 4 were really keen to work with him.
"But '18 Stone of Idiot' was just too disorganised and badly planned."
Johnny - who has previously appeared on BBC2's 'Shooting Stars' - is now in talks with Channel 4 bosses to work on a new project.
