Justin Lee Collins refuses to watch Alan Carr's new show because it may ruin their friendship.

The 35-year-old comic - who hosted 'The Sunday Night Project' with Carr for four years - confessed he hasn't seen any episodes of the camp comedian's latest talk show 'Chatty Man'.

He explained: "We feel it is best we don't watch each other's shows when we're not working together. For the sake of our friendship, it's probably best if we don't."

Justin and Alan's partnership ended in February because they both wanted to focus on solo projects.

Alan recently signed a £3 million deal with Channel 4 to film another 20 episodes of 'Chatty Man' but Justin said he hopes they will work together again in the future.

He said: "'The Sunday Night Project' is certainly done for now but somewhere down the line if we were asked to do it again, or something like it, or maybe just something different, I'd work with Alan in a heartbeat because he's a joy."

We feel it is best we don't watch each other's shows when we're not working together. For the sake of our friendship, it's probably best if we don't.

Meanwhile, Alan and 'Britain's Got Talent' judge Amanda Holden face criticism for mocking "fragile" Susan Boyle on Sunday's (16.08.09) episode of 'Chatty Man'.

The pair don fuzzy wigs, gold dresses and facial hair to send up the Scottish singing sensation, who spent time in rehab after collapsing from exhaustion following her appearance in the final of 'Britain's Got Talent' earlier this year.

Justin is currently fronting show 'JLC is...' on Sky One.
