The veteran actor will star in all nine episodes of the next series as posh busybody Nellie, who returns to Yorkshire after living away. The 79-year-old said: "I'm delighted, it's such a funny show. I know a lot of the cast already, but I'm feeling like the new girl." June, who last joined the sho in 2001 with actor Warren Mitchell, added: "After the series it's up to the bosses and viewers how long I stay after that."
