'Little Britain' stars David Walliams and Matt Lucas are turning their backs on Britain in favour of the US.
The comedians are taking the hit show across the Atlantic but have revealed they will not be returning to make a new series of the show for the BBC.
Lucas, 33, said: "There comes a point in your life when you have to move on."
And the pair are looking forward to starting afresh in the US, where their series of new and old characters will begin airing in the autumn.
Walliams, 35, said: "I quite like the idea of starting again. Very little of us is known in America."
Meanwhile Lucas recently revealed Shakin' Stevens made him realise he was gay.
The TV funny man - who married boyfriend Kevin McGee in a civil ceremony last year - found himself lusting after the pop pin-up when he was just seven-years-old.
