Louis Walsh Blasts 'preening Peacock' Co-judges

Louis Walsh has branded Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue "preening peacocks".

The 57-year-old 'X Factor' judge claims the Girls Aloud star and the Australian singer - who are also part of the adjudication panel, alongside music mogul Simon Cowell - have turned the ITV talent search show into a fashion show.

He said: "Dannii and Cheryl come in like little peacocks in their high heels every day. It's like a fashion show with those two. They are always pruning and preening, nipping and tucking.

Cheryl has different hair all the time - new hair, high hair, different clothes. They've got make-up girls and hairdressers and stylists - but I arrive on my own.

Louis also claims show boss Simon is just as obsessed with his looks, spending most of his time "making eyes" at himself in the mirror.

He added to Britain's Daily Mail newspaper: "I don't want to look like Simon - I like to look real. I don't want to look as if I've been standing in front of the mirror all day. Simon does, but he admits that.

"He has mirrors everywhere, and he looks at himself, and he's making eyes at himself, and he's frowning at himself. That's all I can say bad about him. The funniest thing is seeing Simon blow dry his own hair. He loves that funny haircut."

'The X Factor' starts later this month.
