Mel B is to be a guest presenter on 'Loose Women'.
The former Spice Girls singer - who now lives in Los Angeles with husband Stephen Belafonte and the three children they raise together - will feature on the panel of the daytime show for a week starting on September 14.
Show bosses hope she will attract more viewers with her outspoken views.
A source told Britain's Daily Mirror: "We can't believe we've managed to get her.
"She's known for being sassy and outspoken, so she will fit in just fine - and maybe bring a few A-list pals with her."
The 34-year-old star is following in the footsteps of former bandmate Emma Bunton, who appeared on the show last December.
Mel - who launched a moderately successful solo career when the Spice Girls split up - most recently appeared in Las Vegas burlesque show 'Peepshow'.
In 2007, she also came second on US reality TV contest 'Dancing With The Stars'.
