'The X Factor' runner-up Rhydian Roberts has ignored his grandmother's pleas to get rid of his trademark hairstyle. The Welsh singer - who lost out to Leon Jackson in the final of the TV talent show - has naturally curly red hair but dyes it peroxide blond and wears it spiky, much to the annoyance of older family members. He said: "My gran hates my hair like this and keeps on asking me, 'When are you going to get your natural hair back?' But I like the Billy Idol look so it will have to stay."Rhydian recently said he was glad he didn't win 'The X Factor' because he didn't like the winner's song, 'When You Believe'.He said: "I didn't like my version either. In fact I'm kind of glad I didn't win because my rendition would have got slated, I reckon."
