Ricky Whittle was "gutted" to not win 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 'Hollyoaks' actor, who lost out in the final to BBC sports presenter Chris Hollins, admitted he set out to win the show.
"I was gutted. I was honest from the start and said I wanted to win. But it was a perfect result."
He said: "I was gutted. I was honest from the start and said I wanted to win. But it was a perfect result.
"The people's champion won and I walked away with the top score. It's just that Chris has the title and the trophy.
"It was well deserved. He is a great dancer and performer."
Ricky, 29, also mentioned his plans to head to Hollywood, and said he had to leave 'Hollyoaks' to "chase" his dream.
He said: "I love 'Hollyoaks' to bits and I could stay here for life but I have to chase my dream and that's to do a film or a couple of dramas in the States.
"It is the first time I've gone anywhere without a contract. I'm not going to get scared but just do what I can."

You SHOULD have won. You were the best dancer.
