Pole dancer Sammy Winward

Sammy Winward has taken up pole dancing.The 'Emmerdale' star - who plays Katie Sugden in the ITV soap - has even installing a pole in her house so she can practice her sexy dance moves.Sammy said: "I've got a pole in my house. It's amazing for toning up. I just whack on a CD - Nina Simone or Britney Spears - and do it for half an hour."And it seems Sammy's new hobby may have started a craze on the set of 'Emmerdale'.She said: "I've noticed a difference to my thighs. All the girls from work want a go now."Her pole dancing antics should keep Sammy in good shape for impressing her new man, 'Robin Hood' hunk Jonas Armstrong.The pair have been enjoying a romance since they met at a TV awards show two months ago.

A source told Britain's All About Soap magazine: "Jonas can't believe he's found his real-life Maid Marian. He's been waiting for his Mrs Right and although it's early days their romance is heating up."

Sammy is so eager to see the Irish actor she has been flying back and forth from Hungary, where he is currently filming the new series of the BBC's 'Robin Hood'.

Sammy,21, dumped rugby ace Dave Mercer, 31, in April. She was previously engaged to Blackburn footballer David Dunn, 27, with whom she has a two-year-old daughter Mia.
