Lucci to Host New Crime Show

All My Children star Susan Lucci is returning to TV as the host of a new crime investigation show.

Lucci starred on the long-running U.S. soap opera until September (11),when TV bosses axed the programme as part of a cost-cutting initiative.

And now the veteran actress is set for a career revival after signing on to front Deadly Affairs, a new series which will explore real-life cases of love gone wrong when it premieres on the Investigation Discovery channel this autumn (12).

Lucci will begin filming in March (12).
