Tara Palmer Tomkinson got over her split from Jamey Hargreaves by listening to James Blunt and Coldplay.
The sexy socialite parted company with the wealthy Matalan heir last year and admits she was completely devastated.
But Tara, 34, found comfort in the songs of Britain's two biggest music stars. She said: "I listened to a lot of James Blunt and Colplay. Luckily, I also have a good therapist.
"Many people would have got drunk and got laid, but having been a drug addict, I know escapism only fills the void for so long. So I felt like shit and then moved on."
The former I'm A Celerity...' star says there was one particular track penned by Chris Martin that helped her cope on her most depressed days.
She revealed in an interview with Britain's Closer magazine: "Getting over Jamey was hard. There's a line in the Coldplay song Fix You' that sums up our relationship. It goes: "When you love someone but it goes to waste." I put in so much but I ended up crushed."
