The Office Cameo US Appearance

The original stars of 'The Office' are to make cameo appearances in the US version of the hit TV show.

Producer Ben Silverman has revealed several members of the cast - which included Mckenzie Crook, who is currently starring in the new ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ movie, and Martin Freeman - will "pop up" in a cross-over episode.

He said: "There's a lot of love between the casts and crews of the two versions of the show."

It is not yet clear whether the British cast members will reprise their roles or feature as different characters.

Creator Gervais also acts as an executive producer on the US version, although it is unlikely that he will appear on screen in the special episode.

Silverman said: "We're going to save the big man for now."
