Tinchy Styrder Would Fail 'X Factor'

Tinchy Stryder has blasted 'The X Factor' for not backing urban stars.

The 'Never Leave You' rapper doesn't believe he would ever have done well in the reality TV show because the judges - Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh - only focus on one type of performer.

He said: "Someone like me would never win 'The X Factor'. The judges aren't up to mentoring us and wouldn't have a clue what to do. But there's so much other talent out there waiting to be found.

"Shows like that are sometimes giving the wrong people a head start and it's not fair."

Despite his complaints, Tinchy admits he is a massive fan of the show and tunes in every week.

He added to Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "I want Stacey Solomon to win. She's got a good voice and has a character, which the others are missing."
