Ulrika Jonsson is set to return to 'GMTV'.
The 41-year-old beauty - who appeared as a weather girl on morning TV show 'TV-am' in the late 80s - is said to be the favourite to replace host Fiona Phillips, following her announcement she will be leaving the ITV show at Christmas.
A show insider said: "Fiona's departure is a real blow to 'GMTV', but this gives us a chance to give the whole show a spring clean. Ulrika is perfect - beautiful and intelligent with an ability to laugh at herself.
"Ulrika is an experienced presenter and we are now in serious discussions."

Other celebrities who are reportedly being considered as Fiona's replacement include Myleene Klass, Holly Willoughby and Jenni Falconer.
Fiona revealed last week she wanted to leave the show so she can spend more time with her husband Martin Frizell and their two sons.
In a statement, Fiona, 47, said: "This is the hardest decision I have ever. I've been thinking about it for a long time. I love the job but I've got other responsibilities - the children, a home life and an elderly dad who needs me - and I've recognised that I can't have it all."
