Following the success of the original series Evermoor, a second series titled The Evermoor Chronicles was picked up for 20 episodes to serve as a continuation to the original.

September this year saw filming for the show come to an end, and we got the chance to chat to Georgia Lock and Finney Cassidy of the cast to find out what's in store for viewers going ahead...

What should fans of the original Evermoor series expect from The Evermoor Chronicles?

Finney: There's so many new storylines.

Georgia: That's the problem. There's so many new storylines. The one that kind of was a great set up for this series that's about to follow, there's a lot more magic, a lot more mystery. Things just get a little bit...

Finney: Romance, comedy.

Georgia: It's got everything. I'm so excited.

Finney: There's a lot more kind of spells which carry on throughout the series as in an ongoing storyline, something that's happened at the start will follow through.

Georgia: Yeah. What's nice is there's ongoing storylines but then each episode has their own story to them as well. So hopefully both things will keep people interested, we hope.

Where will we see your characters going in the new series?

Finney: There's so many things. We said this at the end of the series how many things have happened to our characters.

Georgia: Yeah we all have very individual character storylines as well.

Finney: I definitely get put under a numerous amount of spells.

Georgia: Finney Cassidy has a bit of a tough time.

Finney: Yeah poor thing. he belongs in Evermoor, this family come in and then put them under spells. You as well. Some of the opening ones.

Georgia: What's nice for me personally is like in the pilot I wasn't as involved with all the magic that was going on because my character naturally doesn't really concern herself with anything that her step sister Tara is doing. In this series I get very heavily involved in the magic which is lovely. Finney and I have an ongoing romantic storyline, which is always fun.

Finney: Yeah it's always fun, bit of a triangle.

Georgia: Bit of a love triangle with Tara.

Finney: You say triangle but there's other people who get involved.

Georgia: It's more of a hexagon.

Finney: So what's the seventh series going to be, a love octagon?

Georgia: Yeah.

Finney: Yeah he gets himself involved in the ladies of the village. Okay, the female characters in the village. So Bella, Tara, Sorsha.

Georgia: That's a bit more of the story. We can't give away too much, that's the problem.

Finney: I'd say he's...

Georgia: Lots of sarcasm.

Finney: Comically, romantically and dramatically.

So definitely a lot to look forward to then. Obviously you guys have great chemistry, but what was it like on set with the whole cast?

Georgia: Yeah we get on with everybody really well which is lovely.

Finney: Yeah it's a kind of tight cast, we're all close in age, which means we all get on, we all have things in common, we can all go out for something to eat. Yeah, we're all really, really good friends which is nice and a lot of us have known each other from last year. Me and Georgia did another show as well, First Class Chefs.

Georgia: On Disney so we did that together so we know each other really well.

Finney: Yeah we do.

Georgia: But yeah everyone gets on super well. It's really nice to be able to come to work and it really makes a difference when you're filming a show with your friends, and I think that comes across on the series. You can tell we all genuinely do like each other.

Have there been any memorable moments on set while filming?

Georgia: Every day is a memorable moment. We've been filming one episode every three days so everything is super crowded like it's a mad schedule.

Finney: Anything that sticks out.

Georgia: There's just so much. We've had a lot of animals on set this series.

Finney: Yeah that's a good one.

Georgia: Thanks for that.

Finney: We've had ponies, horses.

Georgia: Frogs, a tarantula, a barn owl.

Finney: Tarantula.

Georgia: It's been a bit crazy but it's lovely seeing all the animals.

Finney: We had a dog.

Georgia: Gorgeous dog. So basically animals always stand out.

Any mishaps with them? Were they all well behaved?

Finney: There was a dog that was on, what's it called those leather sofas...

Georgia: Like a leather sofa but on the arm rest.

Finney: What do you call it though, it has a specific name? With the buttons in, there's a name for them. This dog was sitting on the arm of it and it had been told by a trainer to stay and all of a sudden because it's got claws, and it was slippy leather it would just slowly slip throughout the scene and then its face.

Georgia: What was it? It was a Cocker Spaniel and it was so floppy and the thing was, it had been told to stay but the poor thing was slipping, and it was on a shiny sofa and you can see in the scene it just slowly sliding off the sofa.

Finney: You have like the director saying, 'sorry can we just get that dog back up please?' So the dog has done no wrong, it just physically can't sit in the position.

Georgia: It was so cute. Sliding down.

Can you tell us about a typical day on the set?

Georgia: Pick up's at six o'clock.

Finney: Hair and makeup and we eat maybe breakfast first depending on what time it is. Then costume, before makeup I do because I don't want to mess up my hair. Then it depends on what scenes you're doing so if it's a busy day you'll be five scenes in the day all the way through. If it's not you'll do a scene at the scene, scene after lunch and then maybe done.

Georgia: It just depends on the day but the thing is with any job in acting really it's always you're on set, you're busy or you've got an hour to relax. The thing is it gets so tiring. It's great fun but we're tired.

Finney: Yeah it was at the start of when we started shooting. I don't want to give anything away but maybe a couple of days when I wasn't there as much. So we do a scene, we go off, we relax in the trailer and then all of a sudden after that week it was five scenes a day, seven scenes a day.

Georgia: You're in like every scene.

Finney: It completely changed. I haven't even seen what my trailer looks like, which is good because when you're in your trailer the day will go slower because you're not acting or doing what you enjoy but when you're on set it just, it flies by.

Georgia: Days just fly.

Finney: Yeah especially after lunch like two o'clock you go in the studio, seven o'clock, eight o'clock.

Georgia: Usually we wrap at like 7, 7:30 and usually the time has just gone. We go home, it's mad we've been with these people all day but then we'll go out for dinner. So it was lovely. It's busy days.

You've done a couple of projects now with Disney, what's it like working with Disney?

Georgia: Disney are amazing. It sounds almost wrong using the word company with them because it's just so not like that. We're given such a great platform and to be able to do First Class Chefs with them as well, I'm really very humbled by the fact they give us these opportunities. It's just such a great feel, like it has such a lovely feel. You really feel like you're supported and that you're looked after whilst they're trying to give you opportunities to do more as well. So it's amazing.

Finney: Yeah you know we did the pilot last year, and from there it was a great thing to do, but from there we did so many different bits, you know, from promoting the show to going to different events, at premieres. Georgia and I got the opportunity to promote that and it sounds so typical saying it but like a whirlwind of, you know, Disney. You get to do so many things. It's been such a great experience and hopefully it will carry on into the future.

Georgia: That would be the best.

Finney: They have been like, phenomenal. It has been great to work for them.

My final question for you guys is, what's next for you?

Georgia: We're hoping more First Class Chefs. We'll see. Just because we get to eat amazing food all day. It's a pretty awesome day for us and we get on. So I suppose just hanging out with your friends and being able to do a show so that's amazing. Hopefully more Evermoor. We love working for Disney and hopefully more stuff with them in the future. That's how I feel anyway.

Finney: It's funny because Georgia and I do get on. The only time we've ever fallen out, we've had an argument over a Bakewell tart. That was quite recently.

Georgia: I don't know if we should talk about it actually.

Finney: It's still quite raw.

Georgia: It's quite a sore subject.

Finney: We recovered from that and that just shows the only time we've fallen out is when we were saying the ingredients in a Bakewell tart are this, no they're not they're this I know they are, it's my favourite.

Georgia: We love food.

Finney: Yeah our love of food will break our friendship.

Georgia: I've forgotten the question now, you've thrown me.

Finney: In the future yeah, hopefully we'll do another First Class, it would be nice. Hopefully more Evermoor. Maybe another show this year, three this year.

Georgia: Yeah let's do that.

The Evermoor Chronicles premieres at 5.30pm on 9th November on Disney Channel.
