Bill and Giuliana Rancic with baby Duke

For those who haven't seen Giuliana & Bill can you give a little hint about what to expect from the show this season?

This season you will see us not only balancing work and parenthood, but also a lot of Duke. This season has a lot of ups and downs and won’t necessarily end up the way you might expect.

How does it feel to play out your personal life in front of a camera?

There have been a lot of ups and downs documented on Giuliana & Bill the past few years and I don’t regret one moment of documenting those moments. The decisions to go public with my struggle with infertility and my breast cancer diagnosis were difficult ones, but I knew that I had an incredible platform to spread awareness about women’s health issues and do some good. It is so rewarding for me to have women come up to me and say, “Because of you, I got my first mammogram” or “When I heard your story, I went and got checked by my doctor and found out I had breast cancer.” That’s what it’s all about for me.

Have you ever had moments where you've regretted putting your life into a reality show?

Maybe that one time I filmed with zero make up on… just kidding! Not at all. Bill and I both felt very strongly about sharing our story with viewers. Bill and I decided before season one of Giuliana & Bill that we were going to be honest and accurately show our lives. We have been touched by so many people who have come up to us and thanked us for sharing our fertility struggles and my cancer diagnosis because it helped them. We are pretty much an open book for the cameras and we wouldn’t change a thing about that.

What would you say are some of your best memories from the show so far?

Without a doubt, the day Duke was born is my favorite memory on the show. Viewers have been on this journey with us for seven seasons and it was amazing to have our story come full circle. Plus, it will be the most incredible home movie for us to treasure forever.

Do you sometimes find it a struggle to balance working and family life?

It was definitely a struggle, at first, but now Bill and I have a system down. I am definitely doing a better job of leaving my work at work. So that means turning off the computer or putting away my phone when I am at home with my family. I am trying to do a better job of separating work and home life so that I can be 100% present when I am spending time with Duke and Bill and I know Bill does the same thing too.

What do you think of other reality television shows? Do you have any favourites?

I am obsessed with reality TV! It’s all I watch! I love the Kardashians on E! and of course, the entire Real Housewives franchise on Bravo. Reality TV is definitely my guilty pleasure!

You beat cancer in 2011, how has that experience changed you?

I now live each and every day to the fullest. I am so grateful for my health and the health of my family and friends. I’ve definitely learned to not sweat the small stuff.

Are there any other projects you're currently involved in that you can share some details about?

I am doing my normal hosting duties on E! News and Fashion Police, as well as a new show I have on E! called Beyond Candid with Giuliana. I am also working hard designing my clothing line, G by Giuliana Rancic, for HSN and of course, chasing baby Duke around every day!

Giuliana & Bill Sundays at 10pm on E!
