Olympian Iwan Thomas launches Fast Track from Argos - the first ever nationwide same-day home delivery service available 7 days a week across 20,000 products.
We catch up with the athlete and former Strictly Come Dancing contestant to chat about the new campaign, as well as his time on Strictly and what's coming up in the future.
What can you tell us about the new Argos campaign?
Argos is revolutionising shopping by becoming the first retailer to offer same day delivery across the UK, up to 10pm, seven days a week, 364 days a year. The new Argos store-based Fast Track home delivery service, which is available to households across the UK on around 20,000 products.
Why did you decide to get involved with this new campaign?
I love the idea of speed and there is nothing better than ordering something and having the excitement that it will arrive that day. I don't like shopping on a busy high street so the fact I can do this online is brilliant.
Unfortunately you left Strictly Come Dancing this weekend, but how did you find the experience?
I absolutely loved it and it's just a shame it was over so quickly.
Will you continue to work on your dance skills?
Yes of course I will, I will be meeting up with the gang and doing a dance on the last show.
What was it like working with Ola Jordan?
It was really nice, she was patient with me and we had fun in training, so I will really miss her.
Who do you think will be taking home the Glitter Ball this series?
A tough question, but I think it will be between Peter, Jay and Anita.
You're also now presenting Chequered Flag for BT Sport, what's it like working on that show?
It's a dream job for me, as I've been a big bike fan since I was a small kid and got my bike license before my car one. Combine that with travelling the world on the MOTO GP circuit and getting to know the riders and teams, what's not to love?
How do you find the celebrity lifestyle to deal with?
I don't really have to deal with it where I live in Southampton, I'm just a normal bloke who could run fast and now do the Park Run on a Saturday in my local park. I still have the same mates as I have always had.
Would you ever consider doing another big reality series?
The two big shows on TV have to be Strictly and The Jungle, so never say never, maybe we could get this year's Strictly celebs and professional dancers all in the jungle together!
Finally, what's next for you?
It's back to the day job, working on Chequered Flag and The One Show, but I'm hoping to rest my feet for a bit!
