This week saw Lydia Bright help launch a world first, with the 'Snooze Cruise' pulling up in London - a fully functioning Jurys Inn Hotel bed installation, created to celebrate the launch of new luxury beds rolling out across select (Liverpool, Southampton, Nottingham, Plymouth and Brighton) Jurys Inn Hotels from October.

Lydia chatted about her sleeping habits as part of the campaign, and revealed that she can never sleep well when partner Arg is in the bed! Read on to find out more.

What's the worst nightmare you've ever had?

The worst nightmare I ever had was I woke up in my dream and couldn't find any of my loved ones and the world had been taken over by zombies. I think it was after watching The Walking Dead.

Do you sleep better with or without Arg?

I never sleep well with Arg because he snores. I always wake up in the middle of the night and have to go and sleep on the sofa. It's so annoying!

Do you have Paddy in bed with you when you go to sleep?

I normally sleep with Paddy in the bed when Arg doesn't stay. But it's a bit of a squeeze all three of us in the bed.

What's the last thing you do before you go off to sleep?

The last thing I do before bed is search all my social media and make sure I have replied to all my emails, WhatsApps, Texts. I have to go to bed with a clear phone.

Do you have any tricks that send you straight off to sleep?

Sometimes if I find it hard to sleep I like to listen to white noises. So I normally put on my fan. That sends me off.

Do you have any funny sleeping habits?

I am quite a light sleeper so my sleeping habits are; I usually wake up to go to the toilet and let Paddy out at around 3am and I like to sleep on my side with the quilt over my ears.

What's the first thing you do when you wake up?

First thing I do when I wake up is put the kettle on and make a cuppa.

How many hours of sleep do you need a night to feel refreshed?

I feel like if I don't have eight hours sleep I don't feel 100%. But I can't have any more than nine hours because then I feel lethargic.
