Celebrity Big Brother summer 2015 kicked off with a bang last night, as six British and six American housemates entered the house, divided immediately into teams based on their place of birth.

Team UK or Team USA?

Team UK or Team USA?

In the first challenge it was the UK who reigned victorious, allowed to fly the British flag above the Big Brother house for the time being, but things could all change tonight when two new celebrity faces come in to battle it out for the role of President or Prime Minister of the house.

So who are our 14 famous faces? Read on to find out a little bit more about each of them...

Janice Dickinson - potential President - Team USA

Janice says she loves "everything about Britain. I love the culture, I love the Queen and the monarchy. I am a secret Anglophile because I was married to a Brit and we had a house off the Kings Road and I learnt how to drive on the other side of the street." Though she's experienced within the realms of reality television, she says: "I don't have a clue what I'm doing which I suppose is the beauty of it. I know that it is a fantastic show and I am looking forward to a wonderful experience and meeting new friends."

Bobby Davro - potential Prime Minister - Team UK

Bobby says he's going to "take it nice and easy" in the house. "I think the secret of this show is not to try too hard and be an honest representation of what you are. Of course I will try to make people laugh but that comes naturally with me anyway." He says he is "extremely patriotic" and a "great supporter of our armed forces and I go all over the world entertaining them." Asked if he's in it to win, Bobby replied: "I don't think anyone's in it not to win it - that would be a lie. I would love to get through to the final, that would be enough for me, but I will just go in there and hope to do as well as I can."

Austin Armacost - Team USA

Austin's a huge fan of show and has actually been living in the UK for the past five years, watching from home. "It just seems like a fascinating experiment to put all these personalities together," he said of wanting to be in the house. And he doesn't want to be compared to Perez Hilton: "I know people are going to compare us because I am a gay American, but you will see a proper difference between Perez and I. I'm a lad's lad." Asked who he'd like to see in the house he said Dan Osbourne, but quipped that his fellow housemate James Hill "is a bit of a salad boy, he needs a bit more man mean." He also said that he'd "hate to see Farrah Abraham walk through those doors because I have heard nothing but terrible things about her. This bitch is just a bitch. I'm not looking forward to seeing her."

Chloe Jasmine & Stevi Ritchie - Team UK

The engaged X Factor couple come into the house as one housemate, and Stevi says he's nervous that the show could "make or break" his relationship with Chloe Jasmine. Chloe says the worst part about going into the house is that she'll miss The X Factor, but Stevi joked: "We might only survive three or four nights and be out in time [to watch]!" Though they won't be having sex in the house, they're prepared for if anybody else wants to, with Chloe explaining: "If they want to and they felt like they had to then we have got these nice orange ear plugs so we would just let them get on with it and we would not be inspired by their action."

Chris Ellison - Team UK

Admitting he's a bit of a recluse, it was Chris' son who told him he needed to get out more and encouraged him to go into the house. Asked who he'd hate to see in the house he replied: "Perez Hilton. Quick answer!" and also said he would have liked Rick Stein to be in the house. Talking about his bad habits, he admits: "I am quite lazy and I repeat myself. I said, I repeat myself! That must be really irritating. I probably fart, but I think everybody does so there is not much you can do about that, it's just life."

Daniel Baldwin - Team USA

Chatting about speaking to his brother Stephen about going into the house, Daniel explained: "I asked him some of the things to expect. He was early in his commitment to his Christianity, so I think that played a big role in how he interacted. He and I had been the two male members of the family who are born again Christians. We wear our Christianity a little differently. I think it is a programme of attraction, and he thinks it is a programme of promotion. If somebody wants to talk to me about my relationship with God then great, I love to do that but I am not going to sit there and tell someone why they are going to hell. He is a little more bible thumper than I am."

Farrah Abraham - Team USA

Saying she'll miss her family "more than anything" during her time in the house, she's "not stressed" about going into the show and admits to being "very competitive". Talking about what she's seen of the show, Farrah says: "I have caught bits and pieces. There's an entertainment reporter who has interviewed me and I have been at his parties - Perez Hilton. He was some other person. He doesn't act that outlandish in real life but he took it to some other place."

Fatman Scoop - Team USA

"By nature I am just a cool guy," says Scoop, who realises he doesn't know what to expect from the show. "There is always a sense of trepidation when you enter the unknown and it's an abyss because you don't know how deep it will get. But I put faith in myself and I put my faith in God and I'm like, 'Let it roll'. This is an exercise in submission, this is an exercise in mental toughness. This is an exercise in everything. Socially, learning how to deal with people, acceptance, it's all of that and you have got to give in and rock out."

Gail Porter - Team UK

Though she didn't think she'd want to go into the house, "when the offer came, because my daughter is a teenager and it's a cool programme, I thought it could be a bit of a laugh," explains Gail. Because of the theme she thinks it's going to be a competitive house: "Us Brits will be quite laid back and the Americans will be in it to win it. It'll be interesting because some people will go into it as a competition. I am going to go in thinking, 'This is madness!' It will be quite competitive but I'm not going to join in, I'm just going to laugh."

James Hill - Team UK

Known for his time on The Apprentice, James says: "In life, I would say I am a leader. I am my own person and I am not frightened to put my views across. I am quite a strong character but I think I have become more considered in my approach. But I am a leader and I like to be in charge." He says he's "100%" in it to win it, and is "very patriotic". James has only watched one series of Big Brother with Gary Busey in the house, and though he loved Gary, he would hate to see Perez Hilton in the house.

Jenna Jameson - Team USA

This Republican ex-porn star is ready to tell it like it is in the house. "I think that is one of my downfalls. I am not really able to hold my tongue. I say it like it is and it gets me in trouble, especially on TV. I just say it like it is and people can take me or leave me. I might be flawed but to me flaws are kind of beautiful." Asked what she'll do if she's flirted with, she replied: "Most men are really scared of me and girls are intimidated. I don't know if guys are scared because their girls might smack the heck out of them, I haven't figured it out yet." And she promises she won't be avoiding arguments in the house: "I love to argue and debate. I am good at it, I don't ever raise my voice and I have never lost ever."

Natasha Hamilton - Team UK

Natasha's looking to do some solo music off the back of the show: "It's a huge passion of mine and since the Atomic Kitten days my voice has really matured. It doesn't sound anything like it used to and when I sing a lot of people say, 'I didn't know you could sing!' It's one of those life changing events. I do military boot camps and I like being ousted and taken out of my comfort zone. In life we've got to take these opportunities and go with it." She doesn't mind if celebrities want to have sex in the house, and says she'll deal with arguments by taking another housemate outside: "I don't want to spend days with a knot of anxiety in my stomach because then I'm not enjoying the experience."

Sherrie Hewson - Team UK

Nervous about missing her grandchildren in the house, she says "I just think it is pathetic to see people cry on television" but admits that she probably will - something she did as soon as she entered! Of her nerves she admits: "I am only intimidated if people are nasty or cruel. I won't get involved in people's arguments, it has got nothing to do with me, but if anyone is picking on anyone then I will go in." She would have loved Eamonn Holmes to go in the house, but says the "hideous" and "dreadful" Katie Hopkins would have pushed her past her limits. "I would have had to say, 'What are you?'"

Tila Tequila - Team USA

The irony in Tila's name is that she's allergic to alcohol. "When I was about 13 we had some alcohol and I had a bad reaction and threw up everywhere. I thought I was going to die, so the next day at school everybody heard about it so they were like, 'it's Tila Tequila!' And the name just kind of stuck." Asked who she'd like to see in the house, she said: "The guy in Lawless and Warrior? Tom Hardy? I would suck Tom Hardy's nuts! But he's not coming in so it's all good." And asked who she'd hate to see she replied: "Probably Jasmine Lennard. But that would be interesting because I would put a smack down so quick and think the public would love that because she is not very well-liked."

Celebrity Big Brother continues tonight (August 28) when the house will welcome Janice Dickinson and Bobby Davro, 9pm on Channel 5.
