Amy Childs believes 'The Only Way is Essex' is "missing" something since she left.
The flame-haired beauty - who rose to fame as one of the original cast of the ITV2 show before leaving in 2011 - does not think the programme has gone "downhill" but believes she left at the right time.
She said: "I did the right thing. 'TOWIE' is an amazing show, but I left at the right time.
"At first I was like, 'I can't do it. I love 'TOWIE' more than anything'. But I left at the peak of the show. And when I left it - I'm not going to say it went downhill, because it hasn't, everyone still loves it - but there's a little something missing."
However the 21-year-old star, whose cousin Harry also left the series, admits she continues to watch the show, which stars the likes of Joey Essex, James Argent and Mario Falcone.
She added: "I still watch it. I love it. I think it got a bit serious. We need a bit of cheering up and it coul de a bit more chilled."
