Ant And Dec want 'SMTV Live' to make a return to TV screens.

The 'Britain's Got Talent' hosts used to present the ITV1 Saturday morning show alongside Cat Deeley and they admit they would love for it to be brought back for a one-off special.

When responding to one of his followers who said: "FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!! bring back SMtv, Saturday morning TV is totally dump these days (sic)", Ant responded: "I agree. A one off might be fun? A"

When another follower said: "Don't even joke about these things Ant! I will be first in line for a SMTV one off return!", Ant replied: "I wasn't joking. Would be great. A"

'SMTV Live' made its debut in August 1998 and became ITV's most successful children's programme since 'Tiswas'.

Its success was mainly put down to Ant, Dec and Cat's on-screen chemistry, mixing adult and child humour and funny sketches such as 'Chums' and 'Wonkey Donkey'.

Ant And Dec left in 2001, with Cat following them a year later. The show was then axed in 2003.
