Billie Piper has pulled out of BBC comedy 'Tom and Jenny'.
The 'Secret Diary of a Call Girl' star has decided to quit the role - which tells the story of a warring couple forced to live together after splitting up - in order to spend more time on being a mother, after giving birth to her second son Eugene in April.
She has now been replaced by former 'EastEnders' actress Kara Tointon, according to the Daily Mirror newspaper.
Billie's decision to pull out is surprising considering she recently complained she was finding it difficult to get work in the UK and would consider moving to the US for a role.
She said: "It's desperate. You slightly lose your mind. There's not much work in the UK - that's why everyone's moving to America. It's where to work seems to be."
Billie and husband Laurence Fox already have a three-year-old son Winston and the former 'Doctor Who' actress previously revealed she would like to have another child.
She said: "I would like to have three children. I'm thinking of having two close together and leaving it a while, then having another."
