Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is the sexiest babe in Sci-Fi land - that’s the verdict of a new poll identifying the genre’s most desirable boys and girls.

Hollywood starlet Sarah Michelle Gellar emerged ahead of Star Trek siren Jeri Ryan and Fantastic Four’s very own femmes fatale Jessica Alba.

The survey, commissioned by TV channel Syfy to celebrate the launch of fantasy series Lost Girl, which launches on Thursday 1st September at 10pm, asked fans to vote to determine Sci-Fi’s sexiest stars.

The new series boasts it’s very own feisty temptress, Bo (Anna Silk), soon to be a sure favourite herself - a Succubus who drains humans of their sexual energy through kissing before leaving them for dead.

Already established Sci-Fi stars Sarah Michelle Gellar and Hugh Jackman triumphed in their respective genders, current Doctor Who babe Karen Gillan proved she’s more than a match for former Assistant Billie Piper, ranking in fourth place ahead of Piper’s fifth.

Meanwhile, David Tennant beat current Doctor Matt Smith in the sex appeal stakes by landing in second place - Smith scraped in at number ten.

Sci-Fi stalwarts got the thumbs up from red blooded males - genre veterans Jane Fonda, Carrie Fisher and Sigourney Weaver proved they can still send temperatures racing, featuring at numbers eight to ten respectively.
