David Tennant says it is "always possible" he could return to 'Doctor Who' to mark the show's 50th anniversary.
The 41-year-old actor - who played the titular character for five years before quitting in 2010 - admitted he hasn't ruled out coming back to the show to mark the milestone next year since his character doesn't age but doubts his former co-star Billie Piper could return as she played human, Rose.
He told The Sun newspaper: "I'll always be able to come back in the alternate world because the Doctor will age like a normal human.
"Billie probably wouldn't come back and that's what would be problematic. It's always possible but I can't tell you if there are any plans yet."
David also revealed he kept some of the Time Lord's costumes when he left the BBC programme.
He said: "I do have the pinstripe suits in a very secure location. I have one of everything that I wore. They were given to me at the end.
"They are in hermetically sealed suit bags which I have got squirreled away somewhere.
"I hope the moths haven't got in. I could be in for nasty surprise when I go to look for them.
"Who knows what will happen next year? I am sure there are lots of plans being discussed in quiet rooms by men with long beards and great power."
