Van Halen Set For Tv Comedy Role

Rocker Eddie Van Halen is set to make a TV appearance, playing himself on an upcoming episode of U.S. sitcom Two & A Half Men.

Show producer Chuck Lorre approached Van Halen as the guitarist celebrated his recent honeymoon, after learning he was a big fan of the comedy.

Lorre tells EW, "He was gracious enough to do a cameo, which is really cool."
