'Emmerdale's Megan Macey has "fallen for" Carl King.
Gaynor Faye believes her alter-ego could be set for a whirlwind romance with ladies man Carl (Tom Lister) in the ITV1 soap after the characters developed sexual chemistry for each other and "genuine" feelings.
She said: "They're a bit commitment-phobic, but they fancy each other and they're sexually compatible.
"Each of them is trying hard not to let the other one know that they care. I think they've genuinely fallen for one another, but won't let on."
The former 'Coronation Street' star first appeared on 'Emmerdale' as Declan Macey's (Jason Merrells) glamorous half-sister in February and she has been turning heads in the Yorkshire-based show ever since.
When asked if she had settled into her new surroundings, Gaynor confirmed that she received a very warm welcome from her 'Emmerdale' cast mates.
She added to Inside Soap: "I share a dressing room with Sammy Winward (Katie Sugden), and she showed me the ropes and made sure I knew where everything was.
"She's lovely, and so is Lucy Pargeter (Chas Dingle), who's also very funny. Lucy just calls things as she sees the. She knows everything- we call her the Oracle!"
