Jessica Wright has split from Ricky Rayment.
The couple had become one of the most popular in 'The Only Way is Essex' since getting together earlier this year, but after a showdown on last night's (23.10.12) programme, their relationship took a turn for the worse.
Jessica and Ricky met in a bar after she had been out with her female friends, and it seemed they'd already had a falling out.
She asked him: "Haven't you been thinking about me and you and all that s**t last night?"
Ricky was first to broach the subject of a split, telling Jess: "I think we're in different places. I wanted a relationship, but I didn't want this relationship.
"I thought I was ready but I'm not mentally ready to be there all the time. I don't think I'm ready for that."
When she protested she wanted to have " fun," he replied: "We're not having fun."
Jess then blurted out: "There's not much more to say. We want different things. Your idea of a relationship is different to mine," before running to the toilet in tears.
Cracks in the relationship had began to surface in an earlier episode when Jessica told how her partner preferred to go out with his friends rather than her on a Saturday night.
She said: "It's weird. On a Saturday he chooses to go out with his mates when we've got nothing to do.
"At the beginning we were talking about marriage. I don't want to get hurt."
