'EastEnders' Jessie Wallace will return to work this week following a three-month break.
The 41-year-old actress was granted leave by the BBC One soap in order to recover after she cancelled her wedding when she discovered her fiance Vince Morse had sent an explicit picture of her to a former girlfriend.
However, friends have revealed Jessie - who plays fiery Kat Moon - is feeling "100 per cent" better and can't wait to get back to the set.
An insider told the Daily Record: "Jessie has had an incredibly tough time but the break has done her the world of good."
Following the cancellation of her wedding, Jessie made a shock return to 'EastEnders' within two weeks, during what should have been her honeymoon - but bosses then allowed her to rest.
A family friend said at the time: "She's had a stressful six months.
"Jessie's convalescing after a long run and very stressful six months. She'll be back as soon as she's ready."
Her temporary exit saw emergency script rewrites involving Kat going to care for her sick father Charlie, who is said to have had a stroke.
Jessie's alter-ego was last seen at Pat Butcher's (Pam St. Clement) funeral on January 13 and viewers will see Kat back on screen in six weeks.
