The apartment that doubles up as the home of Julianna Margulies' character in hit U.S. TV drama The Good Wife was swept away by Hurricane Sandy.
I had no trouble compared to the other people who are going through a lot. It's awful, it's horrible and we're doing everything we can.
The post-tropical cyclone wreaked havoc on the North East last month, forcing many shows shot in New York to shut down production due to widespread flooding and power outages.
The legal drama is filmed at a studio in Brooklyn, one of the hardest-hit cities, and Margulies admits crew members have been working around the clock to rebuild the set since much of it was destroyed.
She tells U.S. TV host David Letterman, "We went back to work right away. We shoot in Brooklyn. My character's apartment, which gets a lot of play... is gone. It got washed away. But unlike other (homes)... it's plywood, so we can rebuild".
And the 46 year old feels lucky her own Big Apple apartment was not harmed.
She added, "I had no trouble compared to the other people who are going through a lot. It's awful, it's horrible and we're doing everything we can. We (my husband and I) lost power for a week, but that was nothing compared to most people".
