Larry Lamb doesn't rate 'Britain's Got Talent' winners Ashleigh Butler and her dog Pudsey.
The former 'EastEnders' star appeared as a guest panellist on 'Britain's Got More Talent', the spin-off to the ITV1 show during the competition last month but admitted he questioned the judgement of the judging panel and the voting public.
Speaking as he promoted the 'Karcher Cleans Britain' campaign, Larry exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I saw a bit of the act. They don't really do it for me, I'm afraid.
"I would question that judgement. I'd say, a lot of people decided it was [the most talented act in Britain], but I wouldn't want to have to depend on their taste in real talent. I'd choose somebody else to be the judge if that's what they think is the most talented act.
"It certainly wasn't for my money. It's a variety act, that's all it is. It's a filler on an evening of entertainment, it's what they used to call a supporting act. It's not a star act at all, but very entertaining if you happen to like dogs. I prefer singers and dancers myself."
However, Larry concedes that Queen Elizabeth will likely have been thrilled with the outcome as the dog lover will be in the audience when Ashleigh and Pudsey perform during the Royal Variety Performance later this year.
Asked if he thinks the queen will be impressed, he said: "I'm quite sure she will be. The royal family are very into their dogs, aren't they?"
