Lucy Pargeter gets embarrassed by raunchy scenes.
The 35-year-old actress - who plays Chas Dingle on 'Emmerdale' - is relieved the soap goes out in an early evening slot as it means footage can never be too explicit, but she is still uncomfortable shooting intimate moments.
She said: "Yes, it's acting but it's still embarrassing. I can find it really awkward.
"You think, 'This is something people do in private and here we are doing it in front of everyone. This isn't right.'
"When Chas has to start shedding clothes I feel really nervous. Luckily, it's 'Emmerdale' - so we only see the odd bit of shoulder."
Lucy admitted she also suffers from a bizarre side-effect when she gets nervous and is even considering seeking professional help.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I have a bit of a burping problem. It gets worse if I'm nervous.
"I'm actually considering going to the doctors about it. The more nerves and the more I talk, the more it comes up."
