Miley Cyrus is in talks to play one half of the famous crime duo Bonnie and Clydein an upcoming TV miniseries.

Bosses behind AE Networks are producing a four-hour miniseries about classic outlaws Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, who travelled across America robbing banks during the Great Depression, and the former Hannah Montana has been tapped to take on the leading role.

Bonnie and Clyde, penned by Blown Away scriptwriters John Rice and Joe Batteer, will be executive produced by Golden Globe winner Craig Zadan and Hairspray's Neil Meron, according to Deadline.com.
