On the surface, Brian Blackwell was an intelligent, quiet and polite public school boy, a straight A student living in the quiet suburbs of Merseyside. Shortly after Brian returned from a lavish holiday of a lifetime in the States, a neighbour found his parents brutally murdered in their home.

But the perfect facade quickly fell apart. Brian was willing to do anything to avoid detection and after reaching the point of no return, resorted to brutally killing both his parents.
