Nicole Scherzinger has been officially confirmed as the fourth permanent judge on 'The X Factor'.
The former Pussycat Dolls singer is excited to have signed a contract to replace ex-Destiny's Child star Kelly Rowland on the show.
Nicole has been a stand in judge at the show's audition stages in the UK in previous series, and was also on the panel of the first series o f the show in the US last year.
She said: "I'm so excited to join the UK 'X Factor' family. It's where I got my start, so it feels great to come full circle.
"I can't wait to see what talent the UK has to offer and to help inspire and bring out the best in these artists."
Peter Fincham, Director of Television at ITV - which broadcasts the show - added: "Nicole will bring her wealth of experience, both as a solo artist, and as a member of a group, to this year's Judging panel.
'We're delighted that she'll be joining us for the forthcoming series."
Bosses were left looking for a new judge after Kelly was sacked and Dannii Minogue turned down an offer to return. Among stand ins who have been at auditions around the UK have been Spice Girls stars Geri Halliwell and Mel B, singers Rita Ora, Anastacia and Leona Lewis and Nicole herself.
The US beauty - who is dating racing driver Lewis Hamilton - is also said to have negotiated a £750,000 deal to star on the show alongside Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos.
