Phineas and Ferb
Dan and Swampy the animators who have worked on Family Guy and The Simpsons have created the US Smash hit Phineas and Ferb - which has just launched in the UK
The animators have been in London to promote the new Disney Phineas and Ferb TV film and have been giving youngsters an animation master class.
In June 2010, Disney XD UK launched the Aim High initiative, www.disneyxd.co.uk/aimhigh, a mentorship based scheme designed to inspire a generation of kids to get the most out of life, try new things and be the best they can be.
Disney XD enlisted the help of Dan and Swampy, top Disney XD animators and co-creators of Phineas and Ferb, to act as mentors and give lucky winners a unique insight into their fascinating career.
The masterclass involved a talk from Dan and Swampy, a demonstration of a storyboard pitch, a drawing demo and a winners challenge to draw their favourite Phineas and Ferb characters.

The all-star voice cast features a host of well-known names including; singer-actor Vincent Martella (Everybody Hates Chris) as Phineas Flynn and British actor Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Nanny McPhee, Love Actually) as Ferb Fletcher.
Ashley Tisdale (High School Musical) plays the brother’s bossy older sister Candace Flynn. British actor Richard O'Brien (The Rocky Horror Picture Show) plays dad Lawrence Fletcher and Caroline Rhea (Sabrina, the Teenage Witch) stars as mum Linda Flynn-Fletcher.
Watch out for a celebrity guest voice appearance from Jamie Oliver in series 3 of Phineas and Ferb which is currently on air on Disney XD!
