Scott Mason still hasn't come to terms with his stepsister's death.

The 20-year-old student left the 'Big Brother' house for 90-minutes in week two to be told of the tragedy but returned to the show and has only just revealed the news to his housemates.

He confessed to Sara McLean: "I haven't told anyone until now. I don't think it's sunk in. It's a tragedy. Very, very sad."

When she asked why he didn't leave to go to her funeral, he said: "I could have gone but my dad advised me not to. So I didn't."

Earlier in the evening, Sara had slammed her pal when he announced to the house he planned to pursue a career in phone sex when the show is over.

Scott said: "It's a hobby, I might as well get paid for it."

When he was told it was a crazy idea, he replied: "OK, I will only do texts."

However, furious Sara slammed: "You're now thinking in your head that it's fine to do it. Why the f**k would you lower yourself?

"Having fun is not having phone sex. You've got a degree in history. Why don't you do something in that?"
