Snoop Dogg doesn't think 'The Voice' will produce a star.
The rapper is not a fan of the BBC One singing show as he says in order to be a star, you need to have the whole package not just a great vocal talent.
He said: "'The Voice' don't understand that you need more than a voice to be an artist. You could have the best voice ever, but be as boring as hell."
The 'Drop It Like It's Hot' hitmaker also says the show doesn't have the same excitement or quality as its rivals 'The X Factor' and 'Britain's Got Talent' do, both of which are produced by Simon Cowell.
According to the Daily Star newspaper, he said: "I don't see it producing a One Direction or Susan Boyle. Simon Cowell knows how to put a show together."
Simon has also been vocal in his criticism of 'The Voice', which features will.i.am, Jessie J, Sir Tom Jones and Danny O'Donoghue as coaches.
He said: "That show [The Voice] puzzles me because it starts off and 'it's all about the voice'. So my first thought is: 'Why isn't this on radio?' because what's the point in looking at them.
"Then suddenly I'm watching it a week or two weeks ago and it's the same as 'The X Factor'. They've got dancers behind them, graphics, lights. Same show.
"I see a lot of shows trying to rip us off. If you try and rip somebody off it always looks like a bad copy."
