Tim Curry is a perfect villain in Disney XD's new animation series 'Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja'.
The 'Rocky Horror Show' actor plays the Sorcerer in the cartoon and Ben Schwartz - who voices main character Randy - believes Tim is the perfect choice to bring to life the "big evil villain".
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Ben, 31, said: "He is a legend - we look up to him so much. It's funny, we don't get to be in the room with him but seeing him in the hallway ... even that is enough for us to be like, 'Oh my goodness Tim Curry's here!'
"He's a legend and he's so, so good at this. He plays a big evil villain. He's just so, so good at it so we're really psyched to have him on board."
Andrew Caldwell - who voices ninja Randy's best friend Howard Weinerman in the series - also revealed they have several other big name actors "lining up" to be involved with the show.
He said: "We have people like Megan Mullally and Tom William Oliver ... we have so many amazing celebs lining up to be on the show - just to do a few lines - which shows just how special this show is going to be."
The Disney XD programme follows Randy, who is handed down the title of ninja, as he protects his high school and town of Norrisville with friend Howard from the evil 800-year-old Sorcerer and Andrew believes it will appeal all generations.
He explained: "I've watched the show with people of all ages and everybody walks away from it with something amazing to say.
"Every moment of the show there's something going on that's so funny and so great to watch. There's so much action and adventure and all these great things."
'Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja' airs from November 15 at 5.00pm on Disney XD.
