The 'Geordie Shore' star is now "dedicated" to hitting the gym after taking up the full-combat sport, which has improved him both "mentally and physically".

He said: "MMA has totally changed me as a person. From someone who used to go out getting drunk, (I'm) literally now dedicated to the gym.

"I'm a much stronger person, mentally and physically, and it gives you self-control.

"I don't lose my temper as much and you can get all your aggression out in the gym. If I could suggest it to anyone, then definitely go for it."

Aaron will take on professional mixed martial arts fighter Ash Griffiths at the SSE Arena, Wembley, on Friday (25.05.18), and the rest of the MTV show's cast have been really "supportive" in his new venture.

He added: "The Geordie Shore crew obviously follow us everywhere I go, especially Charlotte (Crosby). She's me number one fan, she comes everywhere - so does Sophie (Kasaei).

"I think Charlotte, Sophie, Scotty T and Gaz (Beadle) and I think a few others will be there. They always show support."

The reality TV star will be recalling his intense training regime when he enters the ring with Ash, to ensure he takes home the title.

When asked his main thing to avoid in the fight, he told MTV: "Don't drop your hands otherwise you're gonna get knocked the f**k out."
