Abbey Clancy has signed up for 'Strictly Come Dancing'.

The 27-year-old model has signed a £35,000 deal to appear on the forthcoming series of the hit BBC One show, and is even prepared to splash out on a £3 million abode in London with her footballer husband Peter Crouch in a bid to cut down on her commute to training.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Abbey is really excited to be appearing on 'Strictly'. All her family and friends watch it and Peter is being very supportive - he can't wait to see Abbey in her slinky, sparkly costumes.

"Obviously living in Cheshire is not ideal when contestants have to train at least five times a week. She and Peter are, therefore, looking to rent a place in London and have their eye on a gorgeous £3 million pad on a very desirable road."

The blonde beauty - who has two-year-old daughter Sophia Ruby with Peter - can't wait to squeeze her enviable curves into the glitzy figure-hugging outfits and work on perfecting her Waltz, Paso Doble, Cha Cha Cha and Samba techniques.

The source explained: "Abbey's already in fantastic shape but is looking forward to learning new moves and getting even fitter.

"She'll be a fantastic contestant."

The TV presenter will join the likes of 'Desperate Housewife' star Teri Hatcher and Olympic swimmer Rebecca Adlington on the competitive dancing show.
